29TH ANNUAL HYERES FESTIVAL

It always excites me to see young talent given a platform to be recognized and supported. Just a few days ago, the gardens of Villa Noailles hosted the 29th Hyères Festival of Fashion and Photography led this year by Kenzo creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon. Jean-Pierre Blanc, director of the Villa Noailles founded the Hyères Festival in 1985. This event recognizes up and coming talent in both fashion design and photography. There are 10 candidates selected to present their work over the three days in hopes to win one of the three prestigious prizes.

The top prize, Grand Prix du Jury Première Vision was awarded to Japanese designer Kenta Matsushige.

Second prize, the Prix Chloé, sponsored by the Festival’s official partner and awarded to the designer who best reinterprets the look of the French house, went to Liselore Frowijn and Roshi Porkar

The winners of this year are definitely worth keeping an eye out for....
