DAVID KOMA S/S10

I first met the amazing David Koma at his CSM presentation evening and fell in love with his MA collection straight away. This summer we chatted over Skype constantly as i helped consult for his S/S10 collection and style his show. I recently teamed up with, photographer, Thomas Cooksey to shoot his lookbook which you can see on FTAPE

I LOVE HANNAH MARTIN !!!

Hannah Martin is most def one of my all time fav Jewellery designers. We met last season when the amazing Hannah Marshall introduced me to her and i fell in love with her and her designs instantly . I have since used a lot of her pieces for my shoots and enjoyed working with her this season as she collaborated with Hannah Marshall for S/S10 making us the most amazing spear rings and elbow showpieces. Check out an interview i just did with Hannah on Dazed Digital and visit her website to see all her treats !!

Yeah our Film is on VOGUE.COM

Last season i collaborated with the fabulous designer Fred Butler and Director / Photographer Elisha Smith-Leverock to style miss Butler's A/W09 fashion film. This film has lived a exciting season starting on Dazed digital, showing on the big screen at the ICA Birds Eye View Film Festival and traveling the world on numerous blogs, sites and summer festivals. The amazing Diane Pernet has been a massive support and nominated our film for her first annual A shaded view on fashion film festival, in Paris. Sadly we did not win : ( but it was an honour to be put forward and in the running against such giants as Nick Knight, Chris Cunningham and Max Vadukul. Huge thank you to Diane Pernet and Robb Young for featuring this on VOGUE.COM. You can see our film on my website www.kimhowells.com

TODAY IS ALL ABOUT FRED BUTLER !!

Everyone knows Fred Butler, she is the one of the most sought after accessory designers in London and possibly the nicest person you could ever meet!! I have known Fred since our university days in Costa Del Brighton and everyone could tell she would go on to do big things. Last season i worked with Fred on her Lookbook and fashion film, which featured on Dazed Digital

This season I worked even closer with Fred as her consultant and stylist. Fred was part of the NEW GEN crew again and her new S/S10 collection could be seen the whole of fashion week at Somerset house. Here are some pics of her presentation, special thanks to Sarah Magnay for making us amazing body stockings and Brie for the print design. You can see Fred being interviewed by the amazing Diane Pernet on youtube and keep an eye out for Fred's S/S10 Fashion film we did as a special commission for Nick Knight  - showing soon on show studio

TODAY IS ALL ABOUT PIERS ATKINSON

October the 1st !!! How has that happened? London Fashion Week has just zoomed by and with 6 of my clients heavily involved in the weeks events it has been non stop. I feel it is only fair to dedicate 1 post per event - so today goes to the amazing milliner PIERS ATKINSON.

Stephen Jones opened the 25th anniversary of LFW with his Headonism show at the BFC and to celebrate invited his top 5 favourite london milliners to showcase 5 pieces of their new S/S10 collections. Piers Atkinson was one of these along with Little Shilpa, Justin Smith, Noel Stewart and Soren Bach. Michael Howells built the most amazing rotating hat box platform that provided central stage and Erin O'Connor and Boris Johnson made a speech to introduce the weeks events ...............MAJOR

Special thanks to Zandra Rhodes and Ben for making our outfits for Pier's section and thank you to our amazing models - new faces Ilvie@Select and Dodo@Models1
