James Long is one of my favourite Menswear London Designers so i love helping his stylist Bryan McMahon with his show during LFW and catching a sneaky preview. James' A/W10 collection is all based on 'BOILER ROOM BOYS' and James kindly let me photograph his moodboard and sketches, below. With a strong colour palette of Navy, Black, Gray and Red the collection's compact 15 looks mix fine luxurious leathers, padded and structured at the knees, with thick knits, sheers, velvet corduroy and red abstract paint marks printed onto navy denim and cotton. The hair was pulled off the face with thin headbands and the silhouettes changed from long, oversized jumpers and cardigans to short jackets with large lapels to bold boiler suits and fitted trousers.
