SKETCHBOOK SUNDAY. DINA LYNNYK COLLAGES.

For this weeks Sketchbook Sunday I want to share these fashion Collages by Ukrainian designer Dina Lynnyk. Dina is based in Kiev and studied at Kiev National University Of Design And Technology. she graduated in 2008. In 2011 she was awarded best young fashion designer by Harper's Bazaar Fashion Forward.

For this week's Website Wednesday I want to share VFILES.com. VFILES is an online platform, found in 2012 for lovers of fashion entertainment featuring a wide selection of various fashion media. It also has its very own shop based in NYC and online store stocking hand selected pieces by designers such as Nasir Mazhar, Alex Mattsson, Anna Sui, Gerlan Jeans and many more.

The Michael Werner Gallery in Mayfair is currently showing the early works of Scottish painter Peter Doig. The exhibition shows the artists works from the 1980's, some of these paintings are shown for the first time ever. Peter Doing can be credited for reviving the art of painting in the 90's when it was rumored to be dead. 

The exhibition runs until May 31st 2014.

SKETCHBOOK SUNDAY. CECILIA CARLSTEDT.

I want to dedicate this week's Sketchbook Sunday to the amazing Swedish illustrator Cecilia Carlstedt. 

Originally from Stockholm Cecilia first began her studies at the Stockholm University with a degree in History of Art. She then moved to London for her foundation and BA in Graphic Design and Illustration at the College of Communication 

Her impressive list of clients include the likes of  Swarovski, Paul Smith, Victoria Secret, H&M, La Perla, Elle, Vogue, New York Times and W magazine. She is currently represented by Agent Bauer in Stockholm and Art Department in New York.
