RWANDA IN PHOTOGRAPHS: DEATH THEN, LIFE NOW

"When you imagine Rwanda what do you see?"
This is the question that is asked once entering in the breathtaking exhibition "Rwanda in Photographs: Death Then, Life Now".  A country associated with images of death and violence after the genocide that took place twenty years ago, leading to the deaths of up to a million people, for the first time is giving outsiders the opportunity to see deep within their borders by the photographs of professional Rwandan photographers.
"They show us moments of life in Rwanda today, seen through Rwandan eyes."

This exhibition is being shown at Somerset House and runs till Wednesday, April 30th.
